Parent/Camper Open Houses
If you are not familiar with the Mahackeno Outdoor
Center, please join us for a parent/camper open
house. It's a great time to see the property,
meet the directors, and ask important questions.
Campers can get an early start making new friends!
If you are unable to attend on this date and
would like to set up a time to visit, please
call 226-4221 after May 1st.
Date: Saturday, May 17, 2008
Time: 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
Please use our Sunny Lane entrance.
Prospective Families Visiting Days
Prospective families are invited to come check
out Mahackeno after 4:30 pm during the summer session.
Visiting during the day is distracting the camp programs.
Driving Directions
Sunny Lane Entrance
From The Merritt Parkway Northbound
Exit Parkway at exit 41
Turn left at the stop sign at the end of exit ramp
Parking lot is at the end of the lane
From The Merritt Parkway Southbound
Exit Parkway at exit 41
Turn right at end of exit ramp
Proceed to light through Merritt Parkway underpass
At light, turn left (in front of the Red Barn)
At entrance to Merritt Parkway do not turn left, continue STRAIGHT ahead
Parking lot is at the end of the lane
From I-95 Northbound or Southbound
Exit at Exit 17
Turn left at the end if exit ramp
Proceed approximately 1.5 miles to Post Road (Route 1)
Continue straight through light at Post Road approximately 1.5 miles more
(if you go under the Merritt Parkway, you've gone too far)
At Merritt Parkway, turn right (in front of the Red Barn)
At entrance to Merritt Parkway do not turn left, continue STRAIGHT ahead
Parking lot is at the end of the lane
