In addition to the camping opportunities that Mahackeno and the Westport Weston Family Y offers, there
are many YMCA resident (sleepaway) camps offering great programs. Resident camps provide campers with
an experience that immerses them in a safe, fun, growth experience in a close camp community setting.
Typical ages for sleepaway camp are 8 - 16 years old. Often, there are several options for older campers.
Some campers spend time at both day and resident camps in one summer to have a couple different summer
experiences.
We are proud to mention and provide links to these YMCA resident camps (just a few of many) as
