Water Rat Tryouts for New Swimmers

The Water Rat Swim Team will be holding tryouts on Tuesday, September 13th and Thursday, September 15th. Swimmers only need to attend one day and should arrive at 4:00 to fill out a registration form. The registration fee for the tryouts is $25.

We have many openings in the 8/under programs and some openings in the Age Group and Senior programs....

Registration for the 2011-2012 Water Rat Short Course and Long Course season will begin on Monday, August 15th, 2011 and go until Saturday, September 10th, 2011. WRATS Set State Record in 200 Medley Relay

13/14 Boys Break Two Minutes
The Westport Water Rats set a state record for 13 and 14 year-old boys in the 200 meter medley relay at Age Group Championships this weekend at Wesleyan University.
The boys were the first to break 2 mins with a time of 1:59.48. Congratulations to Tommy Gannon, Michael DeLuca, Bryce Keblish and Ed Stolarski!...

Championship Reminder

A reminder from the Cheshire meet management: The weather this weekend (especially Saturday) will be very hot. All swimmers should bring plenty of water, sunscreen, and canopies/sun shades. It would be a good idea for parents to do so as well.

We are also expecting it to be quite hot on deck as Wesleyan. Please plan accordingly.
