SSI Friday Session Time Change

The warm-up time for the 1500 this Friday at the Senior Spring Invitational has been moved up to 4 pm with a 5 pm start. We have done this to accommodate all the swimmers entered in the event and also so that we end the session at a reasonable time.

A reminder that each swimmer must provide their own timer and lap counter.

Senior Team Practice Changes This Weekend

There will be no Senior I and II practice on Friday, May 6 because of Wrat Recognition Night. I'm looking forward to seeing everyone there!

On Saturday morning May 5, Senior I, Senior II and TAG I will have practice from 6-8:30 am. There will be no Sunday practice this weekend.

Florida Here We Come!

Nine Senior Team swimmers left today for the YMCA National Championship in Ft. Lauderdale. Representing the Water Rats are Edward Stolarski, Nathaniel Boley, Matt Wisher, Matt Knapik, Matt Connolly, Corey Bacon, Bryce Keblish (not pictured), Karen Chu and Molly Loftus.

It's a Water Rat tradition for "rookies" to wear rabbit ears during the entire trip down to Florida....

Senior Boys Win 13-14 AG Championship

The Water Rats boys won the Connecticut Age Group Swimming Championship in the 13-14 division. The Water Rats in the photo all placed in the top 18 in their events at the meet, which was held at Wesleyan University from March 10 to March 13.

In addition, Tommy Gannon took a bronze in the 100-yard breaststroke and he was sixth...

Senior Team Weekend Practice Schedule

A very brief note with some practice schedule updates as we head into The CT Senior Open Championships beginning this afternoon.

Friday, March 4: NO Morning Practice. Afternoon is 430-6pm.
Saturday, March 5: Practice is 7-8:30am at the Y. Those swimming Age Groups and HS States should attend.
Sunday, March 6: No More Sunday practices until we resume in the long course season.
