Water Rats Medal in Minuteman Triathlon
Win First Place in Three Age Groups at Annual Kiwanis Event
Water Rat Swim Team members placed in three different age groups in Sunday's (9/11) Westport Kiwanis Minuteman Triathlon. Christoph Russi, who finished 164th overall, came in first in the boys 10-12 age group with a time of 1:01:45.7. Dashiell Hunter, who was 233rd overall, came in third in the boys 10-12 age group with a time of 1:12:35.2.
Max Wimer took sixth place overall in the triathlon. He finished first in the 13-14 boys age group with a time of 43:40.2. Daniel Williams, who finished 35th overall, took fourth place in the 13-14 boys age group with a time of 48:57.4.
Gabrielle Wimer, who was 60th overall, took first place in the girls 15-19 age group with a time of 50:51.9.
