The Season is in Full Swim!
The holiday season is now upon us and so is the heart of the swim season! For the next several months the level of training and competition is going to increase. It is more important than ever that all swimmers participate in as many practices and meets as they can. We will be working toward meets that have qualifying standards, such as Regionals, which requires people to have swum the event sometime during the season, to qualifying times, such as Age Groups and Y New Englands.
We finished our first week of the new winter schedule and were very pleased with how well it went. It was fun coaching some of the new group combinations.
For example:
* On Monday, TAG I and SAG did a combined workout.
* On Thursday, JAG I/II met for a half hour of dry land team building and meet/goal setting discussion
* On Friday, TAG I/II got a chance to all work out together
* ALL groups had a great challenge set based on swimming 75
