Weekend Practice Updates
I would like to thank everyone for the many kind words and support you all sent the past two weeks. It has meant a great deal and reinforces my appreciation to be associated with a group with so many kind-hearted and caring people.
Fourth of July weekend is nearly here and the weekend looks to be absolutely fabulous. We have a few schedule modifications, so please read the following:
• Saturday, July 2nd: Senior I, Senior II and TAG I – At the Y 6:30-8:45 am.
• NO practice on Sunday, July 3rd or Monday, July 4th – Swimmers are strongly encouraged to get to a pool on either Sunday or Monday and do 3000 on their own. This is extremely important with Championships quickly approaching.
• Return to regular practice schedule on Tuesday, July 5th.
Regional Championships: The 13 & overs have been assigned the morning session at Wesleyan. Providing no changes, the meet times are as follows:
Friday, July 8th: Warm-up = 4:30 pm Meet Start = 5:30 pm
Saturday and Sunday July 9-10: Warm-up = 7:30 am Meet Start = 8:45 am
Ct Senior and Age Group Championships: Please finalize entry with Ellen by Wednesday, July 6th.
Suddenly, Championships are right around the corner. Be sure you are taking care of yourself by eating the many fruits and vegetables which are so readily available and staying HYDRATED!!!!! Sleep is also helpful.
