Senior News 6/2
Hope everyone was able to acclimate to the extreme summer like weather we have been having. Fortunately, a respite seems to have arrived. Phew!
We head up to Wesleyan this weekend for our second meet of the season and we are broken down. Our training intensity in this phase has about another week before we shift gears. I look for everyone to be more comfortable racing with the additional training since the Senior Spring Inv.
A reminder for meet start times:
Ø Friday: Warm-up: 4pm; Meet Starts: 4:45pm
Ø Saturday and Sunday: Warm-up: 12:45pm; Meet Starts: 1:50pm
This is a fully subscribed meet. Swimmers are to have water bottles, nutritious snacks and team apparel.
Practice Schedule Notes:
Week of June 6th:
o Monday – No AM
o Monday, Wednesday and Friday Afternoons: 345-6pm
Week of June 13th:
o Staples is scheduled to replace the pool filters for the next two weeks.
o Mornings will be at the Hunt Club – Monday thru Friday: 5:30-7am. Swimmers who are able to stay in longer please let me know.
o Senior II will have regular Tuesday-Thursday evening practice.
o Senior I – Afternoons TBA
