QUAG for Age Group Championships
1) What is the Championship season?
The championship season is the months of January, February, and March. This is the time when the age group team has meets where swimmers may have to qualify to enter the championship meet.
2) Which meets are Championship meets?
Wilton AA Invitational: Jan. 28-30
Y States: Feb. 12-13
8/U Championship: Feb. 20
Regional Champs: Feb. 25-27
Age Group Champs: March 10-13
Zones: March 31-April 2
3) How do you qualify for these meets?
AA Invitational: A swimmer must have AA times to qualify for the meet. The time standards can be found by going to www.usaswimming.org, Times and team, time standards, age group time standard, 2009-2012 A/B Age Group Motivational Time Standards.
Y States: Any swimmer who is registered with a YMCA club may swim in this meet. Swimmers cannot swim 50 and 100
