8/Under News

Tomorrow, June 25th BLUE GROUP will NOT have morning practice due to the 9 & Under Meet in the afternoon!

I hope everyone is getting excited!! Finalized meet entries were emailed this morning. Please provide ample time for arriving to the Y and changing; there will be quite a few 9/Unders in the locker rooms and on the pool deck.

Warm-up: 4:00pm
Start time: 4:45pm

The Age Group swimmers will be on deck helping out with heat and lane assignments. It is also a great way for our older and younger swimmers to get to know each other better! I also ask that all parents please remain in the stands during the meet. Albert and I want to be able to keep a watchful eye over everyone that is attending the meet, so it is much easier to have everyone in one particular spot on the pool deck (to be determined on Thursday).

There will be one relay event (9/Under 100 Free Relay) at the end of the meet. If you absolutely cannot stay till the end of the meet, please send .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) an email. I would like for everyone to stay as close to the end of the meet as possible after they have finished competing. I would like to make sure that everyone is able to compete in a relay (with number of swimmers available), it also practices good sportsmanship to wait till the entire team finishes racing. I will try as best as I can to get those relay scenarios out to you as soon as they are configured.
