New Canaan AG Qualifier
On-deck times and important parking information
Excitement is in the air this weekend as we head down the road to the New Canaan Y for the PL Qualifier meet. We have quite a few swimmers swimming the 400 IM, 500 Free or 200 strokes on Friday afternoon. All SAG & TAG swimmers not at the Friday meet will have a warm-up practice during the regularly scheduled TAG practice from 5:15 to 6:30pm.
I have spoken with swimmers who are entered for Friday but check the online entries for your events (click here) Swimmers should report at the times listed below. Please don’t be late. We are required to hand in scratches on time and if you are not checked in on time and are scratched from the meet YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO SWIM. All swimmers who are swimming in ONLY the 500 Free on Friday afternoon may arrive at 5:45pm for a warm-up in the shallow end.

· There will be a Dattco shuttle bus provided for all meet participants on Friday and Sunday ONLY. Since Saxe Middle School is right next to the Y there is no need for a shuttle bus.
· Parents will be allowed to drop off their swimmers at the front door of the Y, but they will NOT BE ALLOWED to park and walk them in.
· There is NO Smoking on the YMCA property.
· There should be NO children left unattended in the building.
Swimmers should remember to come to the meet prepared. Wear WRAT team gear, bring extra goggles, caps and towels. Bring a water bottle and a healthy snack. Have a good pair of deck shoes (flip flops-Crocs-Uggs). And get ready to swim FAST!
GO WRATS!
