Gobble, Gobble Red & Blue!
First off, I've got to give everyone a BIG CONGRATS on an awesome swim meet in Greenwich last weekend. We had plenty of fast swims highlighted by Sean Rogers swimming the 25 butterfly twice! First Sean accidentally swam with the 8/Unders and then got back to the blocks in time to swim with the 7/Unders. What made this even more classic was that Sean swam best times in both races! Sean also was the High Point award winner for the boys 7&under age group!
For this tremendous effort Sean earned the Blue team All Star Award along with Esme Hunter who had multiple fast swims finishing Second Overall in points for the entire 8&under age group. Henry Fisher & Sophie Mulhern were best time machines each setting three personal bests and earning the Red team All Star Awards.
There is no practice Thursday (Thanksgiving) or Friday but we are back on track Saturday morning!
Just a reminder, tonight (Tuesday Nov. 23rd), & tomorrow (Nov. 24th) are our first viewing session and all family members are welcome to come from 5:30 to 6:30 to watch practice.
Remember that it is warm in the Brophy pool and with the extra bodies it will be even muggier so short sleeves make it much more comfortable. At our next viewing day parents can bring cameras but for this first session I am going to ask parents to not take photos.
