APPROVAL OF MINUTES
The minutes of the January 6th meeting were unanimously approved.

PET WRAT
About 14% of families have not earned any points.  50% of families have earned some points.  36% of families have earned all of their points.

OFFICIALS
CT swimming may possibly reimburse part of the expense for background checks.

COACHES REPORT
Team Manager Online (TMO) is not working.  Mark needs to follow up to get this back up and running properly.

The Coaches are currently working on the Long Course Schedule.

Many of the swimmers are preparing for Regionals, February 25-27th.

Jacquie is considering conducting the Long Course registration on-line.  This would be a trial test for the fall.

TREASURER’S REPORT

Martha recorded additional WRAT income of $750.

To date, Martha has made payments for background checks for 9 WRAT officials, totaling $335.00.

There was an equipment repair charge for our Timing Board, which was not budgeted.

Expected activity for February includes travel meet expenses, collection of receivables, income collection from Pentathlon, Senior Fundraiser summary, Pancake breakfast summary and End-of-Year forecast.

PRESIDENTS’ REPORT

Planning and Evaluation Meeting-
Sue Anderson would like to facilitate our P&E meeting.  Ellen is optimistic that we could organize this before the end of June.

25 Years of Service-
The Parents Club would like to recognize Ellen Johnston on her 25th Anniversary with the WRATS.  Preparations are underway to celebrate this milestone with current and former WRAT swimmers.

Recognition Night- 
After careful review of multiple factors, the Board has voted to hold Recognition Night at Bedford Middle School.  The utmost will be done to make this a special night to honor our swimmers.

The next meeting will be on March 2, 2011.
