8/Under Opt-Out Deadlines Today
Start/Turn "Bonanza" on 10/23; Wilton "Spooktacular" Meet 10/31
I just wanted to remind everyone that today is the sign out date for multiple meets.
Swimmers who cannot attend our Dual Meet vs Wilton YMCA (@ the Wilton Y) on Halloween should sign out today. The Halloween meet is an AM meet with a 7:40 check in time. The meet should be concluded by 1pm. This is going to be a very fun meet with Wrat swimmers from all age groups racing together to take down the Wahoos. Swimmers and Parents should wear costumes and plan on having a really ghoul time!!
There are two other meets that we need swimmers to sign out for today. The first is our red and blue meet which a fun meet where we split the Wrats into two teams and have a great time racing each other. I will be swimming the 100IM so you definitely want to be there to see if i can still finish four straight laps ... its gonna be interesting to say the least. The Red and Blue meet is being held at the Westport Y on November 2nd.
The last meet to sign out of today is the Greenwich YMCA 8 & under meet being held on Nov. 13. This is a Saturday meet with a 11:40 check in time. The meet should be concluded by 5pm. *This is one of the meets that I changed the sign out date for.*
If you think you are going to be able to go to the meet but aren't sure, do not sign out for the meet yet. Send me an email with the factors affecting your decision and hopefully we can find a way to get your swimmers to the meets.
This weekend while most of the JAG, TAG, SAG, and Senior swimmers are at the IMX meet in Cheshire the Red and Blue groups will still be having regular Saturday practice. Because we will have the whole main pool to ourselves we will be having a start and turn bonanza so please try and get your swimmers to these sessions.
