8/U Meet Recap
I wanted to let everyone know how well the little wrats swam this past weekend at our 8/Under meet! We had 39 swimmers compete and everyone made it to every race, which is always a big success. Our backstroke finishes looked fantastic and we had many brave swimmers compete in their first butterfly races without a single tear. We are still busy compiling results but once everything is tallied I will announce our All Stars. After every meet I name a male and female All Star from both the Red and Blue groups. An All Star earns their award not only by how they race but during their practices leading up to the meet and their sportsmanship and teamwork at the meet.
Many thanks to all the parents who volunteered at the meet. Your patience and support are very much appreciated. We could not run a meet without you!
