8/U All Star & Practice Award Winners

Water Rat 8/Under Meet All Stars as well as our October Practice Award winners are listed below.
When picking Meet All Stars I consider many factors including: Best times, total time dropped in all events as well as each individual event, Team Spirit & support of teammates, and the week of practice leading into the meet. For our 8&under meet I chose one male and one female from Red group and one of each from Blue group. Our Red group winners earned their All Stars for completing all three of their races without being Disqualified. Congratulations Gaby Gonzalez & Dustin Gray! From Blue Team the All Stars were swimmers who swam best times in all three events. On the Ladies side our All Star went to Lauranne De Vos and on the Male side with best times in all three events including a 25 second drop in the 50 Freestyle Enzo Valadares! Congrats to our first All Stars of the Year!
Practice Awards are given to the swimmers who attend the most number of practices in their respective groups for each month.
This month we have 4 Red Team Practice Award Winners and 2 Blue Team Practice Award winners. Ironically enough one of our Blue and one of our Red team All Stars are also on this list which goes to show how important and helpful practice is.
Red Team Practice Awards: Emily Grob, Dustin Gray, Isabella Partlow & Andrew McKinnis with 12 practices in October.
Blue Team Practice Awards: Sean Rogers and Lauranne De Vos with 16 practices in October.
Congrats to all our Practice Award Winners! Keep Up the Great Work!
