SuperMeets
Water Rat Swimming uses SuperMeets to record "negative registrations." This means the coaching staff only wants to know if your child does not plan to attend a meet or part of a meet. If your child intends to participate in an entire meet, no action is necessary. If your child is not eligible to swim in a meet, because of cutoff times or other criteria, you do not need to register.
If your child would like to swim only on certain days and/or certain sessions of a meet, please make a note on the SuperMeets page. You can add notes when you enter the participant's name.
USA Swimming Account
In order to avoid meet entry fees, you must notify the coaching staff (via SuperMeets) that your child is not attending a swim meet. Entry fees quickly add up (the average meet costs $25-35 per day), so it is in your interest to "scratch" your child from a swim meet before the team pays its entry fees and charges your child's USA Swimming account.
