image The Westport Weston Family Y is a community of people - all ages and abilities, different backgrounds and faiths, various professions and income levels - who come together to develop their spirits, minds and bodies in a warm and nurturing environment. And no one is ever turned away regardless of ability to play or capacity to pay.

To ensure access for all who wants to enroll or participate in programs, the Family Y provides financial assistance to individuals and families unable to afford membership or program fees. And it also collaborates with social services organizations in the area to extend the benefits of Family Y membership and programming to all segments of the community.

Who We Are
We are a life-enriching community composed of members, volunteers and staff who come together from all backgrounds and stages of life to develop their spirits, minds and bodies in a warm and nurturing environment.

What We Do and How
We are a mission-based non-for-profit that assists and provides services to people on a daily basis in the communities of Westport and Weston. Some of the organizations with which we partner are ABC (A Better Chance) of Westport, STAR, Inc., CLASP Homes, Families and Children’s Agency, Hallbrooke Behavioral Health Services, Project Return, and Interfaith Housing. By collaborating with local non profits, we are helping individuals and families which serves to enrich quality of life in the community at large.

Not all of our costs are covered by membership and program fees, so we rely on the generosity of our neighbors to help us to fulfill our obligations in the community.

What You Can Do and Why
Demonstrate your belief in the mission of the Westport Weston Family Y and your desire to share your resources in a manner that benefits the larger community.

Donate to the Strong Kids Campaign to provide financial assistance to those who need our help, to deliver programs to all members that focus on
honesty, caring, respect and responsibility, to maintain a safe and fully
accredited facility.
